The Mysterious Savior

I was trapped

In darkness,

My eyes barely

Adjusting.

 I kept tripping,

 Until I got tired

Of it and lost

Hope.

Then, you came along,

With black and white

Stripes.

To me, you were the sun.

An angel, Leading with light.

Finally, I was out of

That maze, now

Free.

However, then I saw

Who you were,

And I trembled in

Fear.

I had to. After all,

How could I not, when

I knew so little about you

That I thought you were

Just a monster?

But then, you were hopping

So cheerfully.

This suddenly brought happiness

To me, and I

Was afraid

No More.
