I love your site. You do really good work. Will you be coming to Skunk Fest? Would love to meet you! You can come and see all the skunks at Skunk Haven Shelter!

I don't mind the skunk smell....I wouldn't go looking for a skunk just to sniff its butt, but yeah.

I stopped writing for poetry.com because anyone can right click then copy from their site. Your site is the same - why put my writings on a site that can be copied by anyone? No Thanks

The Skunk Poetry Contest is much different from poetry.com in that it is not a scam or money-making operation. I haven't encountered a site where you couldn't cut and paste the text. Anytime you put your work out there to be read, on the internet or in hard copy, people can copy it.

We too think skunks are pretty cool. We live out in the sticks here in Maine and see the guys frequently. They love the leftover pumpkin and peelings and lettuce slightly wilted! Keep up the amusing drawings! Made me laugh! Thanks! I sent in a poem!
