Racing stripes never looked so good
as on a 1969 Camaro,
but I had them first. 

They got a good look
and said,
man if she could move.
I mean move.

Long black body,
white reaching around the curves-
one line into another.

They said,
gawd damn that thang looks good.
I mean good.

 Some kind of
mulatto apostle. 

Made to look like
god herself.
